AGREEMENT FOR RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I request permission to participate in a Hunter Pace sponsored by The Tioughnioga Ruritan Club Inc.

I fully understand that a Hunter Pace is trail ride/ cross country horseback riding (which includes, but is not limited to, riding over fences, other natural and man made obstacles, and dangerous and rough terrain) is a very dangerous activity. I have full knowledge of the nature of and extent of all risks associated with horseback riding and the use of horses. I wish to participate in this activity knowing it is dangerous. I accept and assume all the risks of injury (including death) to me, my horse (owned, leased, or borrowed), and my property.

In exchange for being permitted to participate in this Hunter Pace, for myself, my heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, I release and agree not to make or bring any claim of any kind against The Tioughnioga Ruritan Club Inc., or it's members, volunteers, and guests, or any Landowners, Landholders, or other persons making property available for, or participating in any way under any name, the Hunter Pace, for any injury (including death), to me, my horse (owned, leased or borrowed), or any damage to my property whether from anyone's negligence or not, or any other cause, arising out of my participation in this dangerous horseback riding activity. I also agree if anyone makes any claims because of any injury to me (including death), or for any damage to my property, I will keep all those released by this agreement free of any damages or costs because of those claims. I agree to abide by all the rules of this Hunter Pace. I agree that I will NOT return and ride the trails on my own before or after the Hunter Pace.

I have read this document. I understand it is a promise not to sue and a release and indemnity for all claims.
