From the North take Rt. 13 south from Cazenovia. You will follow the Rt. 13 South signs
through New Woodstock (left turn in New Woodstock at the stop sign), then to Sheds (Rt. 13 turns right in Sheds,
4 way stop), and then into DeRuyter. You are in DeRuyter when You go past the Drift Inn. About 15 miles from Cazenovia.
Once in DeRuyter you will come to a stop sign, the only one in town on Rt 13. Look for Big signs saying Hunter Pace with a
big yellow arrow. Follow these signs to the Hunter Pace. Note Rt. 13 turns right, you will be turning LEFT!! Look for the
signs, they are BIG!!
From the North includes points East and North, such as the Canastota
area, NYS Thruway East of Canastota, or Rt. 20. east of Cazenovia. Follow above directions from Cazenovia. If you are coming
from the East on The NYS Thruway get off in Canastota and Follow Rt 13 South.
From the South includes, points such as Cortland and Ithaca, if you are coming from the Binghamton
area take I81 North to Cortland, get off at the exit with Friendly's, The Holiday Inn etc... And follow the directions
below.
From the South take Rt 13 North from
Cortland into DeRuyter, about 15 miles from Cortland. You will go through East Homer and Truxton and then into
DeRuyter. When You go past Sals Pizza you are in DeRuyter. When you get into DeRuyter look for BIG SIGNS saying Hunter
Pace with a big yellow arrow. Follow these signs to the Hunter Pace. The first sign will be at the main intersection across
from Centros Hotel. You will go straight there, note Rt.13 turns left there, look for the signs, they are Big!!
For those of you coming from the West or North West such as Skaneateles,
parts of Syracuse, Baldwinsville, Tully, Lafayette,etc... You need to get to Rt. 80 East in Tully. Take Rt. 80 East
to Apulia. In Apulia take Rt91 South to Truxton, you will go past Labrador Ski Center. Rt. 91 ends in Truxton at Rt
13. turn left at the stop sign onto Rt 13 North. Take Rt 13 N into DeRuyter and look for Big signs for the Hunter Pace with
an arrow. Follow these signs to the pace. Look just above for details.
The Below Directions are for anyone coming from Jamesville on Rt 91S into Fabius or Pompey Center Rd. take
Rt 80 East, You will travel through Fabius as if you were going to Highland Forest. You will go past the entrance
to Highland Forest staying on Rt 80 E, at the next 4 way stop You will turn Right onto DeRuyter Rd. Follow
DeRuyter Rd. past DeRuyter Lake until you get to the South end. At the South end turn Left onto South Lake Rd. There is an
old barn falling down and an old yellow house falling down on your left just before the turn. There is a sign that Says DeRuyter
left, White house on other corner. Go just a short distance and turn right onto Middle Lake Rd. Follow Middle Lake Rd.
until it ends. You will be at the Drift Inn. This is Rt 13S continue straight into town and look for the Big Signs pointing
left to the Hunter Pace. They are at they only stop sign on Rt 13 in DeRuyter.
For
anyone taking Oran Delphi Rd. You will go Straight at the 4 way stop at the top of the hill
after you come through Delphi Falls, You will cross Rt 80 at the 4 way stop. Follow the above dirctions from the 4 way stop into
DeRuyter.
From the Manlius area. You can take Rt
92E to Cazenovia. Turn left onto Rt. 20E at the end of the lake go to the next stop light, past Lorenzo, and
turn right onto Rt 13S. Follow the above directions from Cazenovia. You can also take Oran Delphi Rd. South From Oran. This
is a right turn off Rt 92E in Oran just past the big white Church. You will cross Rt20 and continue through Dephi Falls up
the hill to a 4 way stop. Look just above for the rest of your directions.
From the Cincinnatus area take Rt 26 to Pitcher. Turn onto Lincklean Rd. Follow Lincklean Rd. to
the Old Pond Store. Turn Right onto Lincklean Center Rd. I will have a sign at this corner. Follow Lincklean Center Rd. to
Paradise Hill Rd. I will have signs. Not far.
From
the Sherburne area take Rt 80 W until Rt 26 Otselic, turn left. From Norwich take County Rt. 16 (this is what I
was told the route # is, check a map to be sure) to Rt. 26, turn left onto Rt. 26 as above. Follow Rt 26 W
to the turn that takes You by Camp Georgetown Prison it is a right turn and I think it is Crumb Hill Rd., when I find out
the name I will put it on here. I know there is a sign that says DeRuyter right. Follow past Camp Georgetown. It
is about 7 miles until the turn onto Dublin Rd. Look for a BIG SIGN for the Hunter Pace pointing left. Follow signs from there.
If anyone knows the name of the road on that end let me know, I know on the DeRuyter end it is Crumb Hill Rd.
